Speak Japanese: Monthly Movie Discussion
Hosted by Southeast Japanese Conversation Meetup
Details
The idea is for everyone to watch the movie Princess Toyotomi before the meeting and meet up to talk about the film over some izakaya snacks and maybe even drinks. What you liked, what you didn't like, interpretations...anything. The movie can be found (with English subtitles if needed) here on youtube:

If you're interested in suggesting other films or manga, feel free to leave a post.
Hey I am a new member who just arrived in Atlanta so I am not sure how all of this works but……..
I am interesting in meeting up for conversation on any topic (IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE)
I am comfortable in leading a conversation and helping less advanced students who want to speak. Of course I am sure there are better speakers than me in this group and your help would be appreciated.
I miss speaking Japanese and I think this would be a great chance for like minds to come together and improve our ability to hold down a conversation.
Native Japanese speakers are welcomed and if it is only us Gaijin I am sure we can still make interesting conversation IN JAPANESE.
What do you think?
I live on East College St in Decatur.
How about meeting at a coffee shop in the area or downtown Decatur?
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated
Jesse
I sent this to the Japanese Study Buddies as well
