What we’re about
"Music, healing for the soul, mind and body"
My love of classical music began many years ago when I discovered it's healing, calming and therapeutic properties at a particularly stressful moment in my life. I run this group so all can access this wonderful music genre. This group is ideal for classical music fans and musicians in metro Atlanta who want to find out about the most interesting concerts and events in Atlanta, and attend them.
Concerts featuring orchestral, choral, chamber, opera, and recitals, from the largest concert halls to recital halls at colleges, to churches and coffee houses. Fine arts like classical dance performances/shows also we can jam, play sing and perform together.
Performances of other music varieties in music venues like local bars - genres other than classical music are welcome too.
Many of our events are free of cost or low cost so are very accessible to all.
Members are encouraged to post relevant events on the 'suggest a meetup' section of the website. We encourage any one attending an event to volunteer to hold up the meetup sign (found in the menu under More then Files then Meetup sign to hold up at events) so the group can meet and sit together.
I look forward to seeing you at some wonderful musical events
Best wishes
