A community offering the opportunity get hands on experience shooting portraits in various environments, and working with others to hone your skills by exploring the ins and outs of different lighting techniques. Regardless of your skill level (novice to pro), if you have an interest in portrait photography you are invited to join us. Lighting equipment will be provided as needed, but you will be expected to use your own camera/lens. A professional attitude and respectful etiquette is expected of everyone. This includes all interactions between other members of the group. The focus here is have fun, learn from others around you, and to challenge your skills as a portrait photographer. The group offers the opportunity to shoot high quality images for your portfolio and we only use professional, reputable models. To cover the costs of compensating our models and other equipment use, most of our location sessions will have an attendance fee of $45 and studio sessions are $65 and up. All sessions will be limited to a number of attendees to guarantee everyone their time to shoot. As stated, no paparazzi style photography.
