Quarterly Titanium Panel

This month's meetup is a combination of hack and help:

  1. Working on a Titanium based app? Come to this month's meeting and get 1 on 1 help. Titanium experts will be available to help you with integrating advanced Titanium features or reviewing your architecture or whatever you need help with!
  2. We'll also take suggestions from you and do some coding in front of the group. Even if you're not working on a serious Titanium app, you'll be able to come and watch some live coding of advanced mobile app features.
  3. We'll be giving away some swank Titanium swag and t-shirts.

Additional Details: The meeting will begin at 6:30pm allowing members time to network, arrive and enjoy pizza. At 7pm, ATD will give an introductory welcome, and will be shortly followed by the "hack and help." As always, everyone has the option to head downstairs to Aja for networking and drinks after the meeting.

Important Note: Parking at the One Alliance Center is $10. If you wish to go to Aja after the meeting they will validate part of your parking. If parking is a problem, some members park at Phipps Plaza for free and walk over ATD does NOT validate parking.

    I've pushed the code from the sample project that we used for the panel last night up to github. It illustrates:
    * navigationGroups
    * passing arguments to controllers
    * exposing methods to controllers
    * alloy view reuse

    I'll start with some myself 1. ListViews are new and have a significant impact on performance
    2. How to get reuse out of views in Alloy

    To get in front of this a little bit, i'd like to encourage anyone to push some questions or topic areas that they would like us to spend some time on.....

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
