Build Native-like Apps with HTML5 and WebWorks

  • August 22, 2012 · 6:30 PM

This event will take place at Engauge on the 22nd floor.

Doors open at 6:30pm for refreshments and networking. Talk starts at 7pm. Oh yeah, RIM will be giving away TWO PLAYBOOKS! (Thanks to Laura Moore and Burke Hufnagel for setting this up for us!)

Also, we are in the process of securing a larger venue. Until that time, and due to fire code regs at the Engauge building, we will keep a strict head count.

About the presentation:
Research In Motion (RIM), creators of BlackBerry and many other cool frameworks, will be presenting on WebWorks. Check out some example apps built for the playbook here: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/sampleapps

Pleased to learn that RIM (with their BlackBerry 10) is pretty much alive… Better/ broader competition (not just Android and iPhone) – better for consumers.
