WHO WE ARE...

We are a Meetup group for people in Atlanta who have an international background, or who travel extensively as well as those who have a familiarity and love for the international lifestyle. We are COSMOPOLITES - true citizens of the world! We organize carefully thought-out mixers, music nights, dinner & show events, boating adventures and weekend getaways for our wonderfully unique member base.

We are multi-cultural, creative visionaries who are developing new and interesting social connections - in person - at our carefully planned meetups! We are growing organically and intend to remain at a manageable size so that we can continue the give our members the special attention they are used to from us.

This is a social interactive group with multicultural mixers in Atlanta's more upscale and/or eclectic establishments. We are introducing more OUTDOOR ADVENTURES for 2012!

We are a "social first, business second " group.

We are a growing international social group which is business-optional. As you know, the international community does not always lead with their business identity and neither do we. 

SHOULD I JOIN?

If you belong to any of the following categories, then yes, YOU should join us!

(A) You are a COSMOPOLITE in Atlanta and you love interacting with other True Global Citizens!

(B) You have frequently experienced international travel and you want to expand your international connections locally.

(C) You interact with the international community regularly and naturally feel a part of it. (see "The International Mind" page...)

HOWEVER...

This is NOT a meetup group to join for the sake of joining. We have no qualms about declining applicants. Nothing personal - just building this group based on its purpose. We are not a clique nor an insular group. We operate as a very specific team that caters DIRECTLY to our member base. If this group is not a good match for you, we are sure there are many, many others that are!

MEMBERSHIP
2012 Membership Dues are $10 for the year - $5 of which is given back to the member in the form of a drink at their first mixer. So membership is essentially $5 for the year!

We reserve the right to remove members from this meetup group for any inappropriate reason including soliciting our members or any unwanted contact -  such as commenting on their profiles or sending emails to people you have not already met and developed a rapport with. Our members have the right to report any behavior that is considered offensive. We believe in treating each other with respect and respecting each other's personal space and privacy. We encourage all social media users to be selective about who they connect with online. A good way to gage a person's authenticity is to meet in person. Our meetups are carefully monitored in order to provide a relaxed atmosphere for our members to freely make new connections.
