[Club Meeting] Guest Speaker: Joe Hutto, Gwinnett Technical College

We've had a number of speakers in the past who touched upon the tax incentives the state of Georgia offers to certain industries and businesses to create jobs. Another economic development initiative is Georgia Quick Start, a free service that companies like Kia and GM have utilized to create customized workforce training programs. This week's speaker, Joe Hutto, will tell us more about the initiative and the key role Gwinnett Technical College plays in it.

Joe Hutto has kindly agreed to speak to our club. A native of Alabama, Joe is the Director of Institutional Advancement at Gwinnett Technical College. Prior to moving to GA, Joe attended Troy University with degrees in Business and Public Administration – he is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Adult Education at the University of Georgia. His career began in 2006 at Troy University as an admissions officer and later as Professor of Leadership studies, then as Director of Student Involvement/leadership. Since November 2012 – Joe manages a portfolio of accounts, solicits major gifts, over sees advancement operations office, fundraising and community outreach in the greater North Fulton area.

When: See above for date. The meeting will start promptly at 6.45pm and will last approximately 1 hour, followed by a drink or two in a bar or restaurant nearby.
