What are your favorite subjects regarding science?

The science of human behavior: psychology, anthropology, political science, economics. Also the evolutionary debate: where did we come from exactly, and what are the arguments for and against pure materialism. And relativity and quantum are neat.

Where do you currently get your science news?

Would I look like an ignoramus if I said I don't read much scientific news these days? I do read mathematical/engineering papers when they pertain to my work.

What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?

Convincing them that they will be poor without the scientific developments. It's not an easy question to answer. How can brainy people not be looked at as the social undesirables? Demonstrate that nerds do better in life... ?

I'm an intellectual person stimulated by scientific explorations, and I would love to get to know some like-minded brains. I miss the lectures from college. I did a BS and MS in economics (it is so a science!) and now I'm a software engineer.
