I'm looking forward to tonight's SitP. It looks to be a good crowd.
In fact, "crowd" is really the operative word :) Between the people who say they are coming and the people who say the might come, we're closing in on twice the normal capacity of the room! We probably won't get quite that many -- things come up or people just get tired, and it is too friggin' cold out -- but it's a definite uptick.
The Manuel's staff will help us out as much as they can, but they have two other large group meetings tonight. They are going to pull some of the tables out and bring in more chairs. That should help us get everyone in, but there's not going to be much room for eating. If you plan on eating there, you might be forced out into the main room for the dinner part.
We'll get the actual talking underway a little later than usual, say around 8, to give everyone time to eat and get settled.
Sorry for the tight quarters, but while we've been growing steady for some time, this month took an upward spike we weren't anticipating. I'm happy about the growth, but we are going to have to adapt somehow -- find a new place, put a limit on the number of people who can come, etc. We'll see how it goes tonight, but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please pass them along.
See you tonight!
