Planning, Q&A, State of the Spring Union, and Open Floor Discussion

ASUG is trying something different for our September meeting! Instead of having a speaker, we’ll be covering a variety of topics that are important to us. This will allow everyone to have a say in what ASUG covers/explores in the future.
Agenda:
• Surveying what topics everyone would like to see covered in our future meetings
• Discussing the current state of the Java/Spring job market
• Discovering the skill level of our members
• Group Q&A session covering common frustrations, questions and little known gotchas while working with Spring
• Short open floor for members to share current events or upcoming events of interest
The details below will be the same as always:

The meeting will begin at 6:30pm allowing members time to network, arrive and enjoy pizza. At 7pm, ASUG will give an introductory welcome, and will be shortly followed by the discussions. After the presentation we will give away prizes that have been donated by our sponsors. As always, everyone has the option to head downstairs to Aja for networking and drinks after the meeting.

Important Note: Parking at the One Alliance Center is $8. If you wish to go to Aja after the meeting they will validate part of your parking. If parking is a problem, some members park at Phipps Plaza for free and walk over. ASUG does NOT validate parking.
