Welcome, Atlanta Volleyball players!

OUR GROUP'S PURPOSE: Play volleyball on sand, grass, and indoor courts throughout Metro Atlanta, meet other local volleyball players, make new friends and teammates and build the sport of volleyball.

We welcome Recreational, Intermediate, and Advanced level volleyball players. All are welcome!

There is a note on the Message Board (the link to this area is on the left of this page) that can help you identify what skill level of play you may play at or may be interested in. When you post your greeting to our group it may be helpful to other members (and you!) if you mention the level of play you are comfortable with, or looking for.

There seems to be many who are interested in playing volleyball, but don't have a place to play that is convenient to where they live or work. If you know of Open volleyball courts in the metro Atlanta area, please post it on the Message Board. If you would like to organize a volleyball Meetup event on a court where you normally play or is convenient to where you live or work, let me know. We would like to put some additional games together at different locations. If you have any net locations you would like to suggest, we'll be glad to add them so to give us the opportunity to try out new locations.

Each location has its own assistant organizer(s) depending on where they normally play and the skill level they enjoy playing at -- basically, we're just a group of people that like playing volleyball and have gotten people together to do so in the group.

If anyone wants to play more by organizing a volleyball Meetup for players of similar ability (competitive, intermediate, or recreational) to you, just shoot me an email and I can certainly post it as an event.

Volleyball is the ultimate in Sports & Recreation – it is a very social sport. Sand volleyball is also a great form of low impact exercise. See you on the court!
