Cross-Platform Mobile Development with Azure Mobile Apps and Xamarin

This session will be presented by Nigel Sampson (https://twitter.com/nigelsampson)(@nigelsampson), Technical Apps Lead at Marker Metro. Nigel will talk about Azure Mobile Apps (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/services/app-service/mobile/) and Xamarin (https://xamarin.com/). Azure Mobile Apps (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/services/app-service/mobile/) is an easy way to build a Back-end for your Apps running across all Mobile platforms.

Nigel will start by going over some of the related announcements from Build 2016 (http://build.microsoft.com/). He will then dive into Xamarin and Azure Mobile Apps by going over Authentication, Offline Data Sync, Push Notification Service and Deployment.

As the Apps Lead at Marker Metro Nigel has been building mobile apps for the last few years. He is a Windows Platform MVP and the lead developer on Caliburn.Micro (http://caliburnmicro.com/) an open source MVVM framework for building better apps.
