Just got my Lumo Lift and started wearing it today. Only side effect so far is my iPhone battery seemed to die even faster than before ;) But I have been a little more conscious of my posture. I haven't used the "training" mode much, when it buzzes whenever you slouch, it's probably really annoying but will give it a go soon.

Not yet. Seems a bit fiddly, the app never seems to have any data, even immediately after syncing.

Fwiw, the software for the Lemon back was much better on ios than android - maybe worth trying your iPhone...

    Thanks for an interesting conversation.

    A couple of followups:

The IFFT recipes I am using are things like:
    - phone calls, texts, location, social media posts, heaters on/off, connection / disconnection to specific wifi networks to a diary
    - music to a spreadsheet (I've never figure out a podcast)
    - alerts on temperature, rain, etc (some of which trigger our heaters)

Marks comment (paraphrased as) the next generation of monitoring needs to be "no effort" to collect has got me thinking about the Vessyl (http://on.mash.to/1y3irok) again...but it still feels like a first generation device. I have asked about access to data, and integration, but never had clear answers ("for commercial reasons") - which means it could end up like another Lumo Back - nice be hard to get data from.

And the CDR analysis I couldn't remember was the Ivory Coast (http://oran.ge/1wBij1o).

And thanks to you all for some good links and thinks to research and think about!!

    Pete

Hi all! Unfortunately the guest speaker I had lined up to talk to us tonight isn't able to make it, so I don't have an agenda. Are you still keen for the Meetup tonight it will be more of an informal round-table?

Let's eat food and talk about random QS stuff! And anything else that comes up. Sounds good to me.

Don't think I'll be able to make tomorrow's meeting. Café Scientifique is on :/

He was an interesting guy. He said if he'd known about our meetup he would have come along.

I told him about us last time he was here! But he had a tight schedule. Next time he is here we need to get him to come along!
