Audio Engineers

The Audio Engineers meetup page is an online communication resource mostly used by students of the Old Dominion University student organization known as "The Monarchy." While we openly welcome all ODU students who have an interest in recording/mixing audio to meetings for The Monarchy the group itself is primarily made up of students in the IDS Music Business/Production degree program. The Monarchy is an educational organization whose goal and vision is to create an environment where students can come together and learn from each other. Meetings usually take place every Thursday afternoon with a central discussion in mind, meetings are open forum and questions are encouraged.

A number of students within The Monarchy are also part of the recently established Old Dominion University AES (Audio Engineering Society) student chapter. These students comprise a separate AES student organization. These meetings mainly focus on AES related topics such as possible attendance of future AES functions/events, requirements by the AES to maintain our chapter, and things of the like.
