About us
The Augusta Adventure and Activites Group is Augusta's largest and most active social activities group.
We are interested in anything and everything and try to arrange a wide variety of activities. There's something here for everyone.
Our members come from every background imaginable and are some of the nicest, most friendly people you will find in the CSRA. We love to meet new people and welcome them into our group of friends.
Our group will only thrive and grow with participation, so we are always open to your thoughts and ideas. If you have an idea for an activity, just contact one of the organizers and we will work with you to make it happen. Once you have attended a few Meetups, we would be more than happy to help you host an event. Our group is as active and successful as it is because of its members. We're always looking for people to join our team of organizers. If you decide that you want to be an organizer, just let one of us know.

Lunch with an introduction to Mahjong
Harlem Java House, 211 North Louisville Street, Harlem, GA, USUPDATE This event is now limited to 12 participants. We will be taking attendance, so keep your RSVP current. If you wind up on the waitlist, you can still attend, but aren’t guaranteed a spot to play. If there is a waitlist, and you change your RSVP at the last minute, or no show, you risk not being able to RSVP for Mahjong in the future. You will only be able to participate as a waitlist person.
Join us as we enjoy coffee, tea or smoothies in a welcoming, comfortable environment. There are baked goods and amazing sandwiches. We are playing here for free, please consider at least ordering a beverage for our use of the facility.

We will break down the basics of how to play Mahjong for our beginners, and play a leisurely game for those that are ready to advance. Come participate or just watch and learn about the newest craze.
Note: This is a beginner group, your teachers are also still learning. If you are a seasoned player, we welcome you and your knowledge, and would love to have you as an instructor/mentor.
If you plan to play regularly, you will need to purchase your own card. We have some loaners, but at some point, you will need to purchase your own personal Game Card. Purchase your card from the official site to ensure that you have the right card and not a knock off. Yes, there are fakes out there.
