Our Meetup group started as "The Augusta Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group" with the purpose of facilitating grassroots campaign organizing for Congressman Ron Paul's 2008 Presidential campaign.

This Meetup group, being originally made up of supporters of Ron Paul's 2008 Presidential campaign, decided to continue working for the same goals and ideas that we fought for in 2008.  Being that Ron Paul has announced his NEW Presidential Campaign for 2012, we are now the Ron Paul 2012 Meetup Group, working to elect Ron Paul President in 2012.

This Meetup group will help provide you with the networking and organizational tools to become actively involved in the Ron Paul 2012 Campaign and it's many pursuits. As well as provide the opportunity of meeting and working with many other like minded individuals in your local area.

We are made up of many types of people from all walks of political life, conservatives, libertarians, constitutionalists, etc., but who all agree on the ideas expressed by Ron Paul and the founding principles that made our nation great, as well as a strict adherence to the Constitution.

Join us and help in this mission to elect Ron Paul President in 2012 and begin restoring America back to it's founding principles.
