Speed Friending Austin is having a limited seating event. They are offering limited seating for a special event. This event will be Video Taped, put on the www.SpeedFriendingEvents.com Website, and be used as a national training video for our hosts around the nation.

In exchange for putting on this great event for you for free, all members that choose to attend this event must opt-in to allow us to Video tape this Speed Friending Event, and put video, and pictures from this event on the web.

What is Speed Friending?

It's kind of like Speed-Dating, except, people meet up for friends, dates or both, unlike Speed Dating which is just meeting people for dates. Picture our event like a giant icebreaker for everyone that attends. During the event you will quickly talk with multiple people and not stay in a conversation with any one person too long. Our event will start promptly at the designated Event Start time. Please check in as close to Check In time as possible.

**People who arrive 15 minutes or less before the start of the event may not be able to join the event. Sorry, we have to do this in order to ensure that everyone has a partner before the start of the event. We need everyone to be there early so that we can make sure everyone learns the rules, has a partner, and has a great time for the event!! Thank you so much for your understanding.

Each person sits in a chair across from a partner. Your partner may be a guy or girl. You get to ask your partner the questions you have brought to the event. Your partner responds. After you are both done responding to each other's questions, you switch partners.

You ask any of the questions your brought...you can even steal other's questions! Make the questions fun, silly, thought provoking or even like Miss America-type of questions!

Here are some sample questions that you can ask your partner :

1. If you were given a million dollars, what would you do with it?
2. Would you rather eat pizza your entire life? Or not be able to tell a lie for a year?
3. What kind of comic book character best represents you?
4. Would you rather have the ability to fly? Or have the ability to breath underwater? Why?

Steer away from these type of questions :

1. What do you do for work?
2. How long have you lived in here?
3. What do you like most about this town?

Okay, so I've made a new friend at the event. Follow up with someone I meet at the event? Now what do I do?

You get partnered with many people at the event. In order to keep the event moving along you should only get contact information from people you meet after the main Speed Friending Event is over. We have a social time right after the main event, which gives you plenty of time to naturally get to know someone.

The idea of the Event is that Speed Friending is a Giant Icebreaker for the group. Then afterward we all do something together, usually pool, chat over food, play games, sit around and talk. So after the main event is over, we all move to a separate location and have a social mixer to mingle immediately following the main event. At the mixer everyone openly mingles and exchanges contact information. And if you see someone you like and want to be friends with or get their number, just talk to them and ask for their number simply after the event, just like you would in a party, or bar setting anyway. We looking for friends here.
