Clojure code-up

We haven't had a coding day since Cospace closed, so let's do one. The rules are simple - come, hang out and write some Clojure code. Have an idea and want someone to work with? Have a problem you need some help with? Want an excuse to sit down and work on some 4clojure problems? Just want to see how other Clojurists work? If so, see you there!

Special note to people who are new to Clojure: If you show up (and tell us you want to get started) we'll have someone there to walk you through the basics and get you started.

Are these going to become a regular thing again?

I hope so. It all depends on the interest level. I'm very open to suggestions for frequency, location and the level of structure. If anyone wants to do some coding, I'm more than happy to schedule it.

They've been like quarterly so far but I personally would like to see them happen monthly

I made another pass at setting up ritz/nrepl. I was able to successfully configure and run Ritz, but I wasn't able to get the line breakpoints working. Maybe next time. We'll probably try to do this again next month. (would anyone like to volunteer to organize these?)

Had several different questions and people got a bit done on several of their personal projects. One was getting Emacs to show not only the Intellisense options for functions available, but also to show the documentation. Another person got the Pedestal web framework going for the first time. One other person made progress towards getting Clojure and J-GL (Open-GL) to work.

Maybe next time, I've got some family in town.

Yeah - I didn't think about the holiday weekend here. Bad timing. Oh well, I'm sure we'll still have fun. If we do one in June, I'll check the calendar first... :)

No worries - these are very informal. Come and go as you like.
