The word "community" has become a buzz word that has many possible meanings. What is your definition of community?

Sharing life.

What interests you about community living and/or what has your experience been with it?

My experience of community is that it is something which can come in many forms, but without which, life is hardly worth living.

Do you posess any skills or expertise that you might want to share with the group?

I'm not sure what people would find most valuable, but I'd be happy to talk about my experience with using nonviolent communication. I am not an expert in it.

I'm a recent transplant to Austin with lots of experience in intentional and other communities. Among others I have lived in the Beacon Hill Friends House in Boston, MA as well as pika, and MIT student coop of 30-odd members.
