Senior Systems Analyst, full-time
The senior systems analyst is responsible for all aspects of Drupal integration including recommendation of hardware, front-end design, back-end database considerations, module selection and testing, workflow implementation, maintenance, and deployment. This analyst develops detailed plans and analyses for complex web applications; develops and implements Drupal themes and modules; revises existing site setup; and tests, debugs, and runs quality assurance for Dupal sites; works with the Linux systems analyst and network operations staff to resolve hardware/software issues related to the Drupal installation. Work is accomplished under the general guidance of the Lead Programmer Analyst and/or in coordination with the other application developers.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a four-year degree in computer science, information systems, library science, business, statistics, management, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related areas of study, with the successful completion of a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours of computer related courses, of which at least one (1) was a college-level computer language course.
Relevant experience, as discussed below, maybe substituted for college or other coursework on a one (1) year of experience for one (1) year of college basis.
Three (3) years experience performing complex systems analysis.
Three (3) years experience using PHP programming language and the LAMP architecture to develop and maintain applications. This experience must include the design and development of websites using an open source content management system such as Drupal, Plone, or Joomla, and the design and development of RDBMS applications.
PLUS: General and specific knowledge of systems analysis concepts and techniques, system life cycle development concepts, computer programming concepts, and development environment procedures.
Working knowledge of computer equipment and operating systems.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in computer science, with an emphasis in computer programming.
Experience in development, installation, make ready, and/or administration of a library application.
Experience in applications development in C++, Perl, Java, and/or Python.
Experience in design and development of Drupal modules and themes.
Experience in conducting training for developers in CMS or programming tools.
