Working Session (BYOD)
Details
FSharpers!!!
We had a fantastic first meeting. Chance Coble gave a great intro to F#. He showed us a great use case of F# and deep learning for fingerprint OCR recognition.
Our group really wants to get it's hands dirty with F#. Therefore, we are planning on doing a team coding session. After the meeting, we shared ideas of projects we could work on. We'd like to host these projects in GitHub, write a few blog entries and attract more attention to FSharp. Because of the interest and to keep the momentum, it may be best to meet every 3 weeks instead of once a month. We will alternate between speakers and coding sessions. I would ask the people who had the ideas to post them here. We need as many ideas as possible so we can choose the best ones and move forward. Also if you would like to work on something simpler c4fsharp.net links to different programming problems. We will be breaking up into groups so each one of us will be able to work on something we like.
