June: Lean Applied to an Inbound Marketing Engine with Amanda McGuckin Hager

The long-term health of any business is contingent on consistently delivering & capturing leads to drive a revenue pipeline.

A powerful lead marketing engine though is not built overnight, in one shot, or by staying inside the building.

In this presentation, Amanda McGuckin Hager will walk through the primary components of a successful Lead Engine & how to apply Lean and Agile methods to growing yours

As a bonus, you’ll get to hear how one local startup built a (repeatable, scalable) marketing lead engine from scratch.

Amanda is a B2B technology marketer with over 19 years of experience. She is currently the Senior Director of Product Marketing at PeopleAdmin, the leader in talent management solutions for Higher Education and Government.

Amanda developed her business acumen by repeatedly scaling metrics and creating value for a number of VC-backed startups (BlackLocus, Infochimps), and established technology companies like: Dell Computers, SolarWinds (Forbes #1 Best Small Company in America), NetQoS (bought by CA), and Pervasive Software.

Someone last night asked me my opinion of what companies were doing a great job with Inbound Marketing. I mentioned Hubspot. I'd add Monetate. I love their marketing.

Amanda gave good insight into approaching the lead-gen process, and ways to add support to it.

Amanda was great. The content is much needed in the startup space and awesome but would have liked to hear her discuss money to put an engine in place. Start ups are strapped for cash so would have been nice to have seen some cost/info on the tools.

That's great feedback. I'll try to incorporate for my next talk. I've been able to do what I need to do with very little budget, and very small teams. Happy to speak to it. Where there is a will, there is a way!
