Check out the GeekBus, the maker space on wheels, on the UT campus

Come visit San Antonio's GeekBus (http://www.geekbus.com/), a mobile makerspace that travels to schools or other organizations to provide STEM educational experiences in central Texas classrooms. Inside the Geekbus, you will find 3D printers, robotics, electronics, and maker materials for hands on exploring.

With the explosive growth of STEM careers, the GeekBus programs aim to create the next generation of local STEM talent, by focusing on schools and other educational programs that serve underserved populations.

The Geekbus program is operated by SASTEMIC, a San Antonio nonprofit organization aimed at connecting education, business, industry and military to bolster the local STEM economy. Rackspace, the 80/20 Foundation, Geekdom, and Cognizant are also strategic partners in support of the Geekbus.
