Is this event free, because I'm volunteering for SXSW, so I'd like to know if its part of my package? Also, what training for Adobe products will be covered?

We had a great turnout. Mathias, Paul, Barton and Nick gave some great talks and presentations which showed a lot of forethought and respect for the composition and focus of the group..delving into the relationship between After Effects and Cinema 4D, as well as some 3D fundamentals...all with humility and accessibility.

Since it was after work I liked that there was food. I liked that there was a raffle for a prize related to the meeting topic. The speakers were all interesting and informative. One suggestion I have is to have just one speaker. As interesting as they all were, it was tough to sit for 2 hours listening to 3 different people talk especially after working all day. My attention was waning towards the end. Having one speaker and more social time before and after might be better.

It was one of the best meetup ever. I can't wait for the next event.

Excellent presentations from both speakers, and from Paul of Maxon. Looking forward to the next one. Really looking forward to having my group (ATXDM) working with this one.

The presentations by Barton Damer, Nick Campbell and the Maxom guy (sorry, I don't recall his name) were all excellent and of great interest to me personally.

Great fun. The artists were really great and the software seemed cool. Learned a lot of shortcuts that I have already put to good use.

Nick and Barton did a great job giving us a glimpse into their world of motion graphics. Inspirational for me. Learning about Cinema 4d and its features was a big plus as well.
