Who we are...

This group is about socializing with other professionals in your age group (30s and 40s)....expanding your social circle while making great friends and perhaps picking up some new professional connections along the way.

We will have meetups scheduled at least every other week on different days, at different times and different areas of town to appease as many members as possible. We'll start out with Happy Hours, Dinners/Lunches/Brunches, fun Austin-y events, etc. Your suggestions will always be welcome, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have ideas or suggestions for events.

 

What are you seeking here?

-Maybe you're looking for a social environment where it is perfectly acceptable (but never required) to talk about business and hand someone your card.

OR

-Maybe you're looking to network with other professionals without attending a group that requires you to hand out 2 referrals per week to persons you have not yet personally deemed competent.

 

Here are some things to consider when deciding whether to join us.

 

If...
... you just have WAY more friends than you'll EVER know what to do with, or


... you feel very strongly that business and pleasure should NEVER mix under ANY circumstance, or


... you don't want to meet new people unless they can IMMEDIATELY offer you something of value, or


... you have not really settled into your career...

 

...then This Group May Not Be A Good Fit For You.



However, if...
... you've tried traditional networking groups and find that there is a social element missing, and/or


... you've tried social groups and find that there is a networking element missing and/or


... you've tried traditional networking groups that have an agenda that makes you feel awkward, uncomfortable or just plain icky, and/or


... you are VERY GOOD at your job...


... then This IS Most Definitely The Right Group For You!
