Expertise in Software Design and Other Topics

Brian will discuss an article that covered the results of studies analyzing how expert software developers differed from less-skilled developers in programming and in meetings. "Other Topics" is where you come in. Here's what you do:

read a book chapter, Wikipedia article, etc., about software development (which could include managing software teams) OR create something, such as a simple Twitter clone eat dinner with us, and we'll talk about what you read or did

I find that I'm more motivated to read this way, and teaching others is a great way to learn. You'll also learn from other folks.

In the past, we've talked about OOP, lean startups, REST, Scrum (and risk management), literate programming, Android, and other things.
