Political humor - conflict resolution (volunteer as a mediator for the Dispute Resolution Center) - playing in the kitchen and garden - foreign languages/travel (used to be a linguist) - singing (used to be in a drinking group with a singing problem)
I'd be a cat - friendly but independent, and unapologetic about it!
I own Detour Travel, www.godetour.com, where I design and lead "small group tours with a twist." If the motto weren't "small group tours with a twist," it would probably be: --Adventures in Latin America for tourists who hate tourists --Queer eye for the str8 or LGBT traveler --Eating there is half the fun What makes my tours distinctive is, I make them personal. I only go places I know well, where I can give people an unconventional experience they wouldn't get on their own, or with a generic tour. For example, in Tequila, the standard touristy thing to do is take Jose Cuervo's hourly factory tour. Instead, my group does a private session at a little distillery owned by the boyfriend of a friend of a friend. It's in the same spirit as Keep Austin Weird.
I'm hoping to find a bunch of friendly people and take it from there.
