This group is all about safety, fun, and adventure on the water.
Safety-no joking…do not overstep the boundaries of your kayaking skills or the limits of your kayaking gear. This applies just as much to short, hour-long trips as it does to multi day adventures on local lakes as much as offshore kayaking. If you cannot swim back to the shoreline, consider it “open water”.
Fun–You may be fun if you say “Amusement park rides are for people who don't know how to paddle!" and “I'd rather be paddlin”.
Adventure–You may be adventurous if your vehicle stops at all river crossings. If so you might consider becoming an assistant organizer. Contact the primary organizer: Cathy Kopp for details.
Whether you use a canoe, SUP board or kayak, whether your relaxing, xercising, site seeing, camping, scuba diving, fishing, racing, kayak polo, and white water adventures are all welcome topics for our boards and goals for our trips and get-togethers
