Central Texas Combatives Training Group is proud to host South African military and law enforcement trainer Mark Human for his only 2011 North American firearm seminar. Forged on the ultra-violent streets of South Africa, Mark's approach to extreme close range pistol work is both functional and devastating.

Saturday, August 6 10:00am - 4pm
Sunday, August 7 9am - 3pm
Monday, August 8 9am - 3pm

This will be a three-day course, with two days in a gym and the optional third day on the range.

Using the superb AMOK! training methodology we will examine pistol access under extreme close range pressure as well as in and out of holster weapon retention. You will learn by doing, and experience how pistol safety and carry options can be optimized for close quarters confrontations. You will functionalize pistol handling at close quarters, while moving, pushing, falling, with a blade in the other hand and when firing weak hand.

Required Items:
Pistol w/300 rounds (Monday Only)
Holster
Eye and Ear Protection (Monday Only)
Full-face mask suitable for airsoft or paintball work

Good to bring:
Rubber/Plastic Dummy Training Pistol
Airsoft Pellet Pistol with 150 pellets and gas

Sat-Sun Aug 6-7: We will learn the material in the gym, using both rubber and airsoft pistols to validate it in force-on-force training against resistant partners. This is "must-do" training for anyone who carries a pistol. $250

Mon Aug 8: On the range we will practice what we have learned using live-fire pistol drills at close and point-blank distance. $100
