Austin Foto Factory is a creative space focused on the music, movie, and photography industries. We have at our disposal a 1200 sq. ft., 24 hr access, light controlled shooting facility, equipped with professional quality strobes, & sound system. Let's use it.

We're leaving the teaching up to the others and concentrating on making a photo scene. Our ambition is to bring Austin creatives together for portfolio development and networking opportunities though photography parties, special events, outings, and workshops.  Our goal is to develop structured meetups, from beginning to advanced levels, that will get you shooting, participating, adding to your portfolio, and growing as a creative.

Got a cool idea for photography themes or event? Want to help coordinate and make it happen? Talk to me.

A bit about our history - this meetup was originally founded by Juju Smith as the meetup group.  Juju ran the group from its founding in 2010 until 2014 when she decided to step down to focus on other areas of her business.  Steve DeMent took over the group, and after a brief hiatus, restarted it as the Austin FotoFactory in January 2015.  Juju still participates from time to time and is a consulting member of the Leadership Team.  For those of you who were here before the transition, I hope you will continue to participate and help us build on the success of the group.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
