The Austin Vinyl Meetup group was created so record lovers in Austin could come together to visit local record stores, discover new music on vinyl and meet fellow vinyl lovers.

Whether you're new to records or long-time aficionado, this group welcomes anyone who is passionate about music on records and keeping Austin records stores alive.

I started the NYC Vinyl Meetup and thought it would be great to see a vinyl Meetup get started in Austin. We run that group with a very open, flat structure (anyone can create a Meetup). I'll look to do the same and once there are more members, I'll step aside and let the locals run with it!
