First let me say that Meetup likes to send out way too many emails. So I have turned off their automated email functions and will send you a single email once every two weeks of our upcoming events.

Here is our current schedule:
Blind Wine Tastings, six wines nightly served with four specially prepared, paired appetizers for $18.
Sept. 20 - Champagne & Sparkling Wines - fruits, cheeses and dessets
Sept 26 - Cabernet Sauvignon with appetizer portions of Medallions of beef tenderloin, smoked& spiced cheeses, rosemary lamb skewers/mint gastrique, Port marinated figs/blue cheese
Oct. 3 - Malbec with appetizer portions of Duck confit with lentil cake, Rumaki, Foie gras duck liver terrine, mini beef wellington
Oct. 10 - Merlot with appetizer portions of Veal agrodulce, Carraway rack of lamb/Aioli, Pesto/onion marmalade agnolotti, Honey porkloin/yams&apples
Oct. 17 - Syrah/Shiraz with appetizer portions of Cheese/charcuterie, Spicy hummus/pita crisp, Harrisa grilled beef skewers, Carmelized onion tart
Oct. 24 - Zinfandel with appetizer portions of Gruyere,Lancashire,Gloucester cheeses, Prime Rib/Bernaise, Mini marinara flat breads, Turkey pot pie
On Sundays, we will have the "Football Widow" Wine Seminars from 2:30 -6pm. These will also have six wines served at each event. We will have a guest speaker giving a presentation. Also included in the price is a welcoming reception with Hors d'ouvers and closing with a supper buffet (different menu each week, which I will submit to you when prepared).

Nov. 18 Jane Nickles, Menu & program to be annouced
Also on Halloween, Oct. 31 we will have a Halloween Texas Wine Gala from 7-10pm. This will be emceed by Jane Nickles and live music will also be featured (band TBA). We will feature 10-15 Texas wineries on hand to pour and discuss their wines. Food stations will be setup through the venue, serving Blackened Texas beef tenderloin, Ancho coffee rubbed Quail, Southwest blue crab cakes, Chefs table w/ fruit, cheeses sun dried tomato tapenade, olives& artichokes, marinated vegetables, Shrimp Zamora, Duck confit quesadillas,& Venison skewers. Cost is $48.95 and includes the wines and all food. Reservations can be made by calling Wine Bat at 355-1091. We will only sell 250 tickets to ensure the lines do not get to long and everyone has a chance to actually meet and talk to the winemakers.
