Australia Open Data Teleconference

Details
This is our introductory Teleconference, which we wanted to organize to invite anyone from anywhere in Australia to participate and get to know each other.
Heretofore, Open Data in Australia has been funded and organized by governments or corporations, but this group is self-organized to create awareness of Open Data implementations across Australia.
In this call we will get to know each other, explore common interests, and learn about a compelling Urban Data Use Case from the Australia Research Information Network (AURIN):http://aurin.org.au/
Prof Chris Pettit and Dr Jack Barton from AURIN will tell us about this amazing Urban Research resource which knits together Urban Data repositories from across Australia's universities and Government departments to empower Urban Researchers and policy makers with rich information resources. This framework harnesses open data as well as securitised datasets otherwise inaccessible by urban researchers.
AURIN is an initiative of the Australian Government being conducted as part of the Super Science Initiative and financed from the Education Investment Fund, and the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy.
I hope we can have a few teleconferences like this, exploring use cases and learning from each other, building up to live meetups and events in 2015.
Hope you can join us and contribute.
The call will be at 3pm Sydney Time (GMT +11), which is 11am New York Time
