Australian CKAN Meetup - Sydney CBD

A bunch of Australia's most experienced CKAN developers will be in Sydney on 4 September for a group meetup. This is a great opportunity for people to come along to a social gathering and learn more about the project.

You might be interested in data visulisation, data custodianship, Python development... or you might just be interested in meeting those actively working on open data projects.

NICTA, National ICT Australia, have gratefully offered to host this event (awesome folks). We'll come together at their location within the Australian Technology Park to run the formal part of the agenda - lightning talks, announcements, about the Association, etc.

Please comment with your recommendations for where you'd like to then move to for a more social after event catch up. Somewhere with food and drinks within walking distance of ATP. Otherwise we'll work it out on the day and tweet about it via @ckanproject when we make the move.
