6:35 The OpenStack Continuous-Integration ecosystem.

First up is Ian Wienand, senior software engineer from Red Hat. Learn about the exciting world of OpenStack continuous integration!

This talk will present an introduction to OpenStack's code-quality commitments via its extensive continuous-integration ecosystem. We will show how projects such as devstack (http://docs.openstack.org/developer/devstack/), gerrit (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Gerrit_Workflow), zuul (http://status.openstack.org/zuul/), nodepool (http://ci.openstack.org/nodepool.html) and devstack-gate (https://github.com/openstack-infra/devstack-gate) mesh together to get changes committed safely and efficiently. We will also highlight recent efforts to deal with the ever-expanding range of projects and platforms integrating themselves into OpenStack.

Ian is a software engineer working for Red Hat based here in Sydney. His recent interest has been around broadening platform support in upstream OpenStack continuous-integration and related infrastructure.

7:20 Introduction to NFV (Network Functions Virtualization)

Next up is Sadiq Iqbal, Solution Architect at Huawei, with an intro to NFV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_Functions_Virtualization). Sadiq will give an informational overview on the current status of NFV including how it compares to SDN, as well as the many challenges around this exciting technology.
