Sometimes loud, sometimes intensely quiet, sometimes risky. Always fun and revealing. We are tapping AuthenticWorld for fun and engaging games that we can play ourselves.

What kinds of games are these?

By 'games' we mean fun, highly interactive partner and group exercises that demonstrate and explore authentic relating, getting to know yourself better while at the same time learning to see and appreciate more about everyone you connect with. By 'authentic' we mean that there is no cookie-cutter mold for how you "should" be or what relating "should look like". They are safe places for taking risks, practicing the art of relating with others, playing a little more outside our comfort zones and discovering more about ourselves than we might in our everyday lives. They're also a chance to have fun and party in a conscious way with great people, going beyond small talk and expected (and sometimes boring) social norms. Things to expect: laughter, relief, anxiety/excitement (and the wisdom to know the difference), reverence, and connection, new friends, and new possibilities for how you engage the world. **************************************************

Who comes to Games Nights?

Anyone who craves fun, rich connections with people. It doesn't matter if you're in a relationship, single, old, young, short or tall. (While these are not singles specific events, there are usually several singles there) Anyone who wants the opportunity to experience an open-hearted space where people get to “cut through the superficial” and be truly themselves without apology for an evening. People who enjoy exciting, fun and very juicy social evenings with lots of laughs, plenty of insights, and sometimes sparks flying! People looking for a real, authentic connection with new people and are prepared to take a risk to try something NEW.

5:40pm Doors open/check-in

START at 6:00pm. To honor all in attendance, please be on time. No admittance after we start agreements.
6:00pm - 8:45pm Authentic Relating Intimacy Games
8:45pm - 9:30pm Mingling and enjoying the vibe!

Light refreshments and water will be provided.

Where: Santa Monica Yoga (south studio- follow the signs) 1640 Ocean Park Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90405 (entrance is in alley behind Bob's Market) The studio is a shoes off environment.

Parking: Free street parking is available Sundays on Ocean Park Blvd., and limited parking is available in the alley behind Bob's Market by the studio entrance and the lot to the left(do not park at Bob's Market- they will tow).

Admission: $15 at the door. Please RSVP here on Meetup to guarantee your spot.

Limited spots are available.. Walk-ins allowed up to capacity.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please email me directly if you can't afford the admission price.
