Workshop on WATIR WebDriver for Web Testing

Details

WATIR WebDriver (http://watirwebdriver.com/) is an open-source tool for automating web pages. It uses Ruby as the programming language and supports automation of all browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and IE. WATIR is a very intuitive tool to use, and testers have the full power of Ruby to develop scripts.

Many people want to learn open-source test automation but have not found the opportunity. At this workshop, we will work with those who have never written a line of automation code and those who want to work on some interesting challenges.

Please come with a laptop with Ruby installed (https://www.ruby-lang.org/en/downloads/). If you have problems, bring your laptop and we will figure it out.
