"Know Me as the observer in all fields. true knowledge about the field and its observer is what I call wisdom"
-Krishna speaking to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita
In this group we'll be approaching things from three perspectives.
The first is the meaning and appearance of this phenomenon we call existance. Why are we here? What are we doing? Where is it all headed?
The second is examination of our lives against what we are able to discover in our discussions. Are we truly acting to produce the best results for ourselves and others? Why is "happiness" so elusive. In this portion we will explore what great teachers have to say on this matter as well as great scientists, philosophers and the religious traditions. All will be open to exploration.
The third part of our dialogue will be the realization of our conclusion in planning a community that will put into practice in every aspect of our lives these things that we know to be true through critical self-examination.
All are welcome to attend regardless of level of knowledge and background. Meetings are free although from time to time a donation envelope may be passed around to pay for the membership of this site and expenses incurred during organizing.
I would like to meet people that have interest to search into the observer. Who is observer and how observer could experience himself. My experience is that observer is consciousness itself. I’m curious about other member experience.
