NEW NOTES: Friends, See you at 3PM for today's badminton/volleyball event. Let's play some sports and meet many new friends. We need to meet at 3PM, not 2PM because I'm running late from Brooklyn. See the updated event web page at: http://www.meetup.com/AsianBusinessNetwork/events/134624472/Thanks for your support, James[masked]
Dear friends, please join us for this fun networking event.
We will enjoy playing free sports games and have a fun workout at the park nearby this restaurant.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SPORTS EQUIPTMENT.
Playing sports for more than one hour is really good for your health, it improves your skin and energy level.
Also it will burn a lot of calories, so that you could eat more :)
See you soon, James[masked]
Ever wanted to do something out of your comfort zone and didn't want to wait for friends to make a decision to join up? Awesome Things to do was formed for that reason in mind while saving some cash. Organizers look at deals offered by discount websites and turn them into events so you don't have to go at it alone and often it's an even better deal when we have a group rate. We're fun, well-organized, and aren't afraid to speak up to vendors who do not hold up to their end of the deal. Most of all, we're sociable. Damn it, we are sociable.
We enjoy making new friends and hope that you meet some great people in this group: just try not to flake and remember to chip in for gas/tolls.
The following is a taste of what's out there (typical adventures are beginners/intermediate):
• Hang Gliding
• White Water Rafting
• In/Outdoor Rock Climbing
• Eating (Peruvian Cow's Heart anyone?)
• Restaurant Week
• Cooking Competitions & Demos
We've been there, done that, and would love to do it again (well, maybe not the cow's heart).
