Let's Learn To Code: Python For Beginners

Details
LLTC: Python is an 8 week group for individuals to come together and learn the coding language Python. The group will meet every Thursday from 6:30 - 8:30 during this time period.
There is no focal facilitator, but rather a curriculum that members follow and a collaborative project for everyone to participate in. The end goal is that, by the end of the 8 weeks, the LLTC members will have a fundamental understanding of Python and will participate in creating a joint project with the gained abilities.
Let’s Learn to Code was founded in 2013. Instead of drudging through expensive, dry coding courses alone without a truly supportive network, LLTC aims to bring together passionate individuals who wish to learn programming. The course itself is completely free of charge. and a large majority of the material used for all current LLTC courses can accessed online for free. All you need to start is a laptop and a bit of determination!
All courses are volunteer-led and open to all ages and skill ranges. The general format consists of following along with a predetermined curriculum at your own pace (like homework, except constructive!), and then meeting with your group once or twice a week to go through example problems, projects and talk through any difficulties. This style of learning, commonly referred to as “flipped classroom” teaching, has been proven to be especially effective for computer science education.
Participation is free, and there is no sponsorship. Any donations will go towards food and beverages.
Please RSVP at your earliest convenience so the material can be sent your way. Email jeremytoce@gmail.com with any questions. Thank you!
