Overwhelmed! How To Turn Your child with Special Needs Into A Great Gift
Who this event is for, is for loving Bay Area Parents of special needs kids.
Perhaps its Autism, Down syndrome, MS, adhd, md or cerebral palsy to name a few...
Parents think that when you have a child with special needs that your life is over. I know I did!
But really it’s an opportunity for a new awakening.
My name is Baruch Vargas and I have a child who is 10 years old who has Down syndrome.
Have you ever felt alone and needed support because your life changed the moment your child was born different?
Have you ever had a pain in your heart that you never wanted to share with anyone regarding your child?
Do you ever feel annoyed when your child’s life gets in the way of a normal situation?
What about when you asked yourself this Question… Why did this happen to me?
I felt embarrassed because I thought people would look down on me for having a child with special needs, so… I procrastinated for months to start this group. I have learned from her that life is short and its ok to not have everything be perfect before I do something. This is me doing something to give back to others like myself who could be stuck, not knowing where to go, feeling overwhelmed, and still have a burning desire to want to succeed.
This is a safe place to come together and it would be an honor to have you as a guest. In this group you will get
- A place to share resources
- A place to ask questions of parents who are in a similar place
- Free the pain and let the healing begin
- Get over the hump and start living again
- Empower yourself to move yourself, your family, and most importantly your child forward.
- Know there is support
- Stop feeling strangled and start feeling free
I have learned through the years with my child that we take life one day at a time. Each day brings a new story. This group will be the start of many new treasured, unique, and spectacular chapters in our journeys.
You might ask who is this parent?
I am a proud father of 3 beautiful daughters, one of which has Down syndrome. Yes that’s right one with Down syndrome. That makes me a part of an elite group of super parents. I joined this fraternity that I did not ask to be a part of over 10 years ago! The day I joined, it left a deep pain in my heart. I’ve asked those questions above many times and answered them as well. I have found out that even though life gets in the way… things seem to always turn out ok.
Clearly this is not for everyone, nor is it meant to be. However, if you know in your heart, this is for you…
Then…
This is a formal invitation for you to be a part of this Special group.
There will be a day where I will make an invitation to bring our sons and daughters. Yet this meeting is about us as parents so please arrange to have your child looked after while you attend this event.
