Sensory Input - Making Games That Can See, Hear and Feel

Most of the input we deal with as game developers comes from the keyboard, mouse, and gamepad, but there are more ways we can interact with our gaming devices. Join Ray Brierly as he shows off some of the more unconventional ways to get player input in Unity, including the following:

• Motion controls

• Device camera input

• Audio input

• Web data as input

About the speaker:

Ray Brierly is a software developer who has been working with Unity 3d for the past few years. He has made popular web and Android applications, and is currently working with his brother, Will, on the Xbox One release of Soda Drinker Pro, the world’s most advanced soda drinking simulator.
