How to Use Pinterest to Pull Traffic to Your Blog, with Joan Stewart

Do you have a blog, a book or a consulting service on a topic that's difficult to illustrate? If so, you can still make a killing on Pinterest!

Publicity expert Joan Stewart's board “50 Tips for Free Publicity” has been in the #1 spot on Google search for the keyword phrase “free publicity” for several months, and she hasn't finished it yet. Not one sexy photo anywhere. In fact, no photos at all. "I rely only on JEGS made from spartan PowerPoint slides," Joan says. "Each includes a helpful tip that leads visitors back to a post at my blog."

Her strategy is so successful that her Pinterest board ranks even higher than her own PublicityHound.com website and is the third highest traffic generator at her site. Join Joan, aka The Publicity Hound, for this fast-paced session and learn how to create your own board that pulls traffic to your blog. She'll share SEO tips on how to help it rank high in search. She'll even show you how to use blog posts to pull traffic to your Pinterest board.

We'll have plenty of time left for you to "Stump the Hound" with questions on the best ways to generate publicity for your blog, your book or your business using traditional media and social media.

Great event! Joan Stewart did an excellent job! She shared personal tips that helped to skyrocket her own success and introduced some exciting free websites that offer valuable tools, that I look forward to implementing. In fact all of her info was helpful for those of us navigating the ever-changing online world.
It would have been great to have a project and screen to make it easier to see her desktop and to take advantage of other interesting sites some of the participants shared.
