West Hoathly, Weir Wood Reservoir and Forest Row Circular - 11 miles

A spring walk in an attractive area of the High Weald, with views over Weir Wood Reservoir from various locations. Lunch in Forest Row with a choice of pubs, cafés, or a picnic beside the church. Along the route we will be passing Lower Lake in the Gravetye Estate, crossing the Bluebell steam Railway line several times, visiting Stone Farm Rocks and following a section of the Sussex Border Path. Optional pub stop at end of walk.

Free parking in Finche Field, West Hoathly, but spaces are limited, so where possible, car sharing is advised. Some on-street parking may also be available in Top Road / Sharpthorne Road, which is approximately five minutes away on foot.

NB. Travel expenses are divided equally between the driver and the passengers, with the rate currently being 30p per mile for car sharing arrangements.
