Mayfield and Wadhurst Deer Park Circular - 11.5 miles

An undulating circular walk from the picturesque East Sussex village of Mayfield, via Wadhurst Park, Batt's Wood and Hawsden Park Wood. Late lunch next to the attractive lake in the deer park. Picnic only, no alternatives. Option of pub stop at end of the walk.
Cars required. Kindly post a comment if you are able to offer any members a lift from Brighton, south end of Preston Park for a prompt 9:30am departure, or state an another location and the relevant time. Leader will be going directly to the starting point.

NB. Travel expenses are divided equally between the driver and the passengers, with the rate currently being 30p per mile for car sharing arrangements.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
