July "nearly" Full Moon Drum Circle

Details

A full moon happens usually once a month, so it's a good excuse for another outdoor drum circle at one of our favorite spots. On the Sunday of 7/21 (the day before the full moon) the nearly full moon rises at 7:28pm - and the sun sets almost an hour later at 8:24pm.

The park is BIG.... so, to find us, use the address above and LOOK at the Google map. The green arrow points to the exact location where we meet. From 101, you'll go east on Embarcadero Rd, and pass the PA airport (will be on your left); take a left at the T; go past the duck pond (also on your left). After that, bear right and proceed to a gravel parking lot at the end of the road. The place where we drum is an area of soft gravel between the parking area and an arrangement of big concrete blocks.

There is no seating, so bring your chair, stool, or an old blanket to sit on. There is an outhouse nearby. Dogs are allowed. Handicapped access is poor, but not impossible. This location is always cool and windy in the evenings so bring a jacket or sweater.

If your plans change at the last minute, please change your RSVP accordingly.

Extra drums and percussion instruments are usually available but not guaranteed.
