Calling all single parents! Face it. We have different challenges and joys than our married friends.
We will have group activities with and without our children. Ideas include outings: sledding, baseball, museums, movie nights, dinners out, potlucks, game nights, parent nights out, and maybe even guest speakers or parenting seminars.
Our goals include:
-Meeting other single parents
-Introducing our children to other single-parented kids
-Learning to deal with challenges that arise
-Effective parenting techniques
-Exploring parenting topics
-Getting out for fun!
Dues are a whopping $1/month so it's $12 for all of 2010.
