I've named this new group BIF to distinguish it from my ELF class, which is slightly more advanced & ongoing. This is a brand new class for those of you who have had NO French experience before at all. We start with simple sentences and learn the grammar as it emerges from what we've already been practicing. You'll actually learn to speak & the speed of my teaching is controlled by that of the group, which is why I've started this new group, for everyone to start off at the same level.me to have
(If you're reading this, but had some French in school years back and think you've forgotten it, you may be ready for ELF, which has been ongoing for a couple of months & IS people who've had French in school years ago, had forgotten it & never learned to speak it. They ARE now beginning to speak and you'd have to keep up.We meet Mondays in the same place at 10 AM & 7 PM)
COST: $50 for 4 consecutive lessons, ongoing, payable in advance. In other words you can pay by the month and the class progresses onward. The printed leave-behinds of the material, some short/some long, are only $1 a time and form a file you can make for yourself to practice at home with. It's essential for me to have a minimum of 5 commited students ongoing, in order to form a class.
Additionally, drop-ins are fine at $15 per session, but of course that loses them the continuity to progress with & it's important for those not to hold the rest of the class back. For some people that may be the only alternative for their scheduling. But for opening class everyone can start at the drop in rate, in order to get the flavor of me.
If we cannot get the minimum of 5 consistently ongoing students, then we can chat about an alternative payment schedule for a smaller group...and of course i give private lessons also, at $30 an hour.
