Kick off the Weekend: City to Surf Ride

To make the most of the long summer evenings, we’re putting on a series of social fun Friday after-work rides.

The plan is to meet at Harmony Park then start riding east on the Campbell St cycleway to Taylor Sq and on to Bondi Beach via Paddington, Centennial Park, Bondi Junction, and Bellevue Hill. After soaking up the views and/or a quick dip in the surf, we'll find somewhere to get dinner in Bondi.

Return ride (with leader) back to Bondi Junction for those who would like to train it or find there way home from there.

The ride follows parts of the route (http://au.mapometer.com/cycling/route_3931004.html) BIKEast has identified for the City to Surf Veloway - a high standard bike route featuring existing and planned cycleways. Total riding distance is less than 15km. Easy pace.
