Christine Fish: Infographics: One Picture For 1,000 Words

Christine Fish walks in two worlds – technology and art. Having been a technical writer for 15 years, she decided to not write another book that nobody wants to read and revamped her business to include her other passion – art. As an instructional designer experienced in team leadership and facilitation, process improvement and, of course, technical writing, she realized the power in using visual images to convey complex concepts quickly. Now, she’ll be teaching how to be seen as an expert by using clear communication through visual imagery.

What to Wear: Business casual. (Please avoid highly scented perfumes or lotions as people may be sensitive to such smells.)

What to Bring: Something to take notes with, a willingness to contribute and be open to learning, the commitment to be present, business cards, a laptop if you so choose (not required) and anything special you want to eat. If you would like to stay overnight, please see the note below about Accommodations.

What to Eat: Lunch and bottled water are included in the tuition for both days. If you have particular food requirements and/or desire specific snacks, please bring them. (Anything ‘smelly’ – popcorn, fish, etc. – is not encouraged.)

Registration: Advance / confirmed registration is required, no walk-ins please. Limited to 40 participants. If you are joining HCC to enjoy the discounted price, membership fees must be paid the same time as registration.
